Yeah its the weekend! So Im done with my day shifts and now I go to P.M.s which is 2:30-11:00! Im sad to leave the people who have trained me they were all Hispanic and gave me hugs and kisses as I left, they are some of the neatest people I have ever met! I think Im getting the hang of it, I had to transport a whole leg to the lab today, poor lady was a diabetic and lost her right leg, take care of yourselves people, its not fun transporing body parts! There was a really old lady today getting her hip replaced and us aides move them from the operating table to the gurneys! She was so old and fragile, I just started getting tears in my eyes, poor little thing!

It really is fun hearing about your work days. So interesting - thanks for sharing. Poor little hispanic ladies - you were their friend. I'm sure they will miss you as much as you will miss them. Hopefully you will have just as nice people to work with during the night shift. Did you get the leg to the lab ok? Didn't get lost with it did you? You seriously don't have to worry about getting lost in the hospital if its just body parts you are transporting and not the whole body. Ok sick. That is sad she lost her leg and the little old lady, sad. How many aides are on each shift. Like how many did it take to lift her? Keep the updates coming. Love to hear them

Yes I will miss my hispanic friends both male and female, they are some of the hardest working, nicest people I have come across, I feel like Ive known them for more than a week thats for sure!
its been a great experience, theres about 6 aides in the day, we are all assigned certain rooms. and I figured out how to get to the lab so I dont get lost anymore! :)
