Oh man what a weekend! I had my CPR class all day on Sunday, it was tough! Theres A LOT about CPR I didnt know, but thankfully I passed and might I add "barely" passed to that! And my partner ended up being a Pediactric Oncologist which is what Im hoping to get into! Very interesting lady, but very helpful as well, I just thought it was neat to actually meet someone in the feild I was interested in!
Yesterday was orientation-BORING! and today was my first day at work-VERY OVERWHELMING! So I find out Im not only cleaning operating rooms, but us aides transport patients to, Im really nervous about that part, I can barely find my way around the hospital! Oh Im so nervous! This will be a great experience though, my co-workers are very nice and very helpful and also VERY patient with me! Thanks to my Seanyboy, mom and mother-in law for words of encouragement, its what got me though this first day!
Nice huh? I look at this picture of me and think I look like Sarah Gilbert (from the tv show Rosanne) Gross!

Jenn- Congratulations!! That is exciting. Mom told me how you barely passed, but at least you passed and thats all that matters! I am so happy for you! What hours do you work? How are your kids handling you working? We miss you guys and love you all!
Congrats! You'll have to keep us updated on how it goes--especially if you ever have any fun/interesting stories that happen while at work!
You forgot to thank me for my words of encouragement - or maybe I forgot to give you some, but GOOD LUCK and I KNOW YOU'LL BE GREAT AT IT. Just remember, if you get lost - no big deal because the patient won't have any idea where you are going anyways. There's always signs in the hospital too, just read those and act like you know what you are doing. I used to think it would be fun to work in a hospital...until I had to stay in one. You are brave and I'm proud of you. Love you.
By the way, I think your picture is really cute. And how do you even remember the person on Roseanne's name??? You are crazy
Congrats on your first day! I think the first day/week of a job can often be the scariest and most stressful as everything is new and there is so much to learn. But things get better as you start to figure everything out.
That is hilarious that your picture reminds you of Sarah Gilbert! I think you are much prettier than her, though.
First, the picture is not gross. lol Second, you will do a great job. I just know it!
