Can someone please tell me what is up with the "letter verification" on blogs? Does my blog have this? If it does tell me so I can get rid of it, I try to leave comments and it takes me like 3 tries to get it, okay I know this is an easy one, but seriously am I the only one bugged by this?

I know it's annoying, but it's so only real live humans can leave comments. There is a virus going around through comments that will wipe your hard drive. It's a computer sent virus so if you have the letter verification they can't leave it in your commets because a computer can't type in the verification. I've gotten one that says soemthing about my post be very likeable...Yada Yada...a hug :)
It's just a way to make sure only real people are leaving comments and not trying to put a virus on your computer. Does that make sense?

I hate them too and sometimes it takes me a couple of tries as well. I'm too chicken to turn mine off, but you can.
